Mednikow has a talent (and a passion) for bringing you the biggest possible diamond at the lowest price.
Diamonds on the "imperfect" part of the GIA Grading Scale usually have inclusions that are visible to the eye, even without magnification. But sometimes these diamonds are beautiful and would make an engagement ring that anyone would be proud of. Mednikow carefully considers hundreds of I1, I2, and I3 diamonds and chooses only the top 1% that we feel we can present proudly for the customer who wants the biggest possible diamond for the lowest possible price.
When possible, we mount Imperfect diamonds in advance, in order to minimize the visibility of the inclusions. After 129 years in business, Mednikow has become expert in mounting diamonds to show them off at their best. We take particular pride in this subtle skill of ours as jewelers who really understand imperfect diamonds.
